Tome, Machu picchu sounds angry, passive aggressive, pessimistic, and like you're basically giving up on trying to make something work. I'm not going off of lyrics or anything, I actually barely know any lyrics and haven't really payed attention to them, but the overall vibe of the song is what captured me on my first listen.
